Introduction

Zheng-Gen, Chen is Professor of Law at Shih Chien University, where his areas of expertise include constitutional law, administrative law, police law, law on state organization, administrative remedies law, and administrative procedure act. Professor Chen received his Ph.D. in Law from the University of Tübingen, Germany.

Professor Chen has extensive academic leadership and public service experience. He has served as Dean of the College of Law, Chairperson of the Department of Law, and Professor of Law at the National University of Kaohsiung, as well as Assistant Professor in the Department of Law at Kainan University. In addition to his academic roles, he has been active in public administration and regulatory affairs, serving as a member of the Legal Affairs Committee under the Ocean Affairs Council, a specialist (officer) in the National Police Agency under the Ministry of the Interior, and a member of the Legal Affairs Committee under the National Police Agency, Ministry of the Interior.
