Li-Ching, Chang
Introduction
Li-Ching, Chang is Chair Professor at Shih Chien University, where he serves as an expert in criminal law, medical ethics and law, criminal procedure law, legal ethics and classical literature, comparative criminal procedure law, and artificial intelligence and law. Professor Chang received his Doctor of Law from the University of Munich, Germany, and his Ph.D. from National Taiwan University.
Professor Chang has had an extensive and distinguished career in academia and public service. He has served as Dean of the College of Law at National University of Kaohsiung, Professor and Director of the Department and Graduate Institute of Law at Tunghai University, as well as Professor and Director of the Personnel Office at Tunghai University. Internationally, he has served as a Visiting Professor at Stanford Law School. Furthermore, he has been active in legal practice and governance, serving as CEO of the Artificial Intelligence Law International Research Foundation, member of the Medical Malpractice Review Committee under the Ministry of Health and Welfare, member of the Criminal Law Amendment Committee under the Ministry of Justice, and as an examiner, question setter, grader, and oral interviewer for Taiwan's judicial, attorney, and civil service examinations.
