All our faculty members have doctoral degrees in law from noted universities at home and abroad. Their fields of expertise include civil law, criminal law, commercial law, intellectual property law, artificial intelligence and law, international law, etc., helping students to gain a solid foundation in law and develop a global view.
In the fast-changing information age, industry collaboration has become increasingly popular. Therefore, the career paths of legal talents should no longer be limited to the traditional roles, such as being judges, lawyers or civil servants. The Department of Law plans to incorporate legal training into home economics, design and information technology by setting up cross-disciplinary modules in courses that include family and law, fashion and law, and artificial intelligence and law. The goal is to cultivate legal talent with cross-disciplinary skills to offer more diverse career paths for our students.
