CHENG-TAO, HAN

 

Introduction

Cheng-Tao, Han is Associate Professor at Shih Chien University, where his areas of expertise include criminal law, medical law, criminal procedure law, biotechnology law, and artificial intelligence and law. Professor Han received his Ph.D. in Law from Tunghai University.

 

Professor Han has a distinguished career spanning academic instruction, legal research, and professional public service. He has served as Associate Professor in the Department of Financial and Economic Law at Overseas Chinese University and Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Master's Program of Science and Technology Law at China Medical University. Internationally, he has served as a Visiting Scholar at the Faculty of Law, Kansai University in Japan.

 

In professional organizations and public service, Professor Han has held prominent roles including Deputy Secretary-General of the Artificial Intelligence Law International Research Foundation, Supervisor and Head of the Finance Division of the Taiwan Criminal Law Association, and Secretary-General of the Taichung Medical Law Association. Furthermore, he has contributed his expertise to judicial and compensation review bodies, serving as a member of the Specialist Judge Certificate Review Committee (Medical Category) under the Judicial Yuan and a member of the Criminal Compensation Case Review Committee at the Taichung District Court.
